Mike Kalinowski recently renovated our kitchen and he did a fantastic job.  He was quick and efficient and truly went above and beyond.  His craftsmanship is excellent and it shows in his work.  My husband and I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for some work to be done.

We have been SO pleased with all of the work that you have done for us, both
here in Pleasant Ridge and at our cottage!

Let me take it one at a time: 1) Painting: Your painting skills are amazing!
You take every measure to be sure the walls, cabinets or other items you are
covering are smooth, color-perfected and right in line with the customer's
desires. From a major project, painting an entire house, to touch up projects,
you make it perfect. Your suggestions of color matching have always come out
better than original concepts. We have been extremely pleased with all of
painting projects and will use you for any and all future projects.
2) Major and Minor Construction Projects: I always thought my father was the
master of all construction projects. He actually built the home I grew up in and
I never thought anyone could match his skills. However, I truly believe you
could build ANYTHING...just like my father. You've added windows in our home,
where there were none; you've built shelves and cabinets; you've cemented new
stairs; you've put in energy efficient water heaters (tankless)...BIG
jobs...little jobs, you've done it all and you've done it VERY well. I wish my
father were still alive so he could meet a man who has his skill set! It's
amazing.

3) Tenatcity to Get the Job Done Right: We've gone through so many workman
through the years. Some do a job and we never see them again. Some charge so
much we never care to see them again. Some we call and they say they will be at
our home to do the work and never show up. For the past two years this has
never been the case with you. We call; we set up an apointment and you come. You
won't leave until it's done and done CORRECTLY!

Best of all, Mike, we trust you. We trust you with our precious homes and the
things that we most value. You not only are an amazing skilled worker, you are
great friend to us.

I've passed your name on to many associates and friends and I would be more than
happy to personally talk about your work at our homes.

Thanks for going the extra mile in finishing my basement! Just as you promised, it was completed in time for my daughter's graduation party and it was a hit! When you started the project with an empty shell of a basement, I didn't even have an idea of what it shoulkd look like. Your design ideas were great and the finished product is awesome! You handled everything from start to finish, including drywall, electrical, plumbing, paint & carpet. Now my basement is the best place to go in the house. I wanted to write and let you know what a beautiful job you did repairing our front porch!

First, you gave us a fair bid on the job. Second, you carefully explained to me what you were going to do. Third, you SHOWED UP ON TIME. Fourth, you actually did the job in the exact amount of time you said, one day, which was hugely important to me! And fifth, you and your crew were completely professional and extremely efficient the entire time.

I am always very very nervous when having work done on my home, because I have had bad experiences in the past; contractors showing up days late, leaving early, causing the job to drag on twice as long as it was supposed to. I was afraid this job would be the same.

This job went so stress free for me, and turned out so beautiful, IN THE TIME FRAME THAT MIKE PROMISED IT WOULD HAPPEN!

I wanted to thank you for everything you did to our house!  The window replacement was excellent.  The fireplace redo was beautiful and I appreciate the extra mile you went when our Christmas tree broke the tile!  The closet doors you installed in the entry way were great as well.  And let’s not forget the bathroom redo!  The tile was perfect and the grout color you picked was great.  The shower doors you picked – not sure I could have done a better job.  They are perfect and so easy to clean.  I am so glad I allowed you to use your view of the final result because we love it.  All the electrical work you did was very speedy and you paint like a pro…guess that’s because you are!  The cost to do all of this was extremely reasonable and I appreciate how you left things after you were done.

We recently hired Mike Kalinowski of Mike’s Custom Colors do some work on our home.  We are preparing for a move and we wanted to do some improvements for the sale process.  Mike was able to begin immediately and finish very quickly.  He scraped and painted our textured kitchen ceiling and installed a can light in the process.  He also painted our sunroom ceiling and down the basement stairway.  All of this was done in one day!  The workmanship was super and all was cleaned up when we arrived back home from work.  We have also hired him to close up an opening in our large pantry and install doors to make it look like custom cabinets.  Mike is very reasonable, quick, has great ideas and does exceptional work.  Mike was recommended to me by my neighbor and family.  We saw the work he did at both houses and we liked what Mike has done.  We highly recommend him to anyone.  There seems to be nothing he can’t do!
